Guaranteed protection

The Alp Trainer 2 is an advanced mid-cut mountain boot with a sturdy suede upper and high-quality stretch fabric and a GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining, waterproof and breathable, providing great protection for hiking in the mountains over variable terrain and in diverse conditions. It features a solid rubber toe cap reinforcement that protects from stones and scree.

Adjustable comfort

A very comfortable model that guarantees a precise, wrapping fit and good support. Our patented and registered 3F System, with a steel cable, guarantees firm ankle support and lateral stability, while the Flex Collar increases the ankle's rearward range of motion and its comfort during descents. In addition, the customizable Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) in SALEWA® comes with interchangeable layers to adjust the volume to your size. And the Climbing Lacing system allows you to adjust up to the toe to offer greater precision in technical sections.

Good grip and traction

The improved Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole, exclusive to SALEWA®, offers enhanced performance and control across a wide variety of mountain terrains. It also works brilliantly in damp and muddy environments thanks to the dedicated climbing, traction and braking zones, and the solid tread design.
